Role Overview
Lingawa is seeking a talented Senior UI/UX Designer to shape the user experience and visual design of its platform. This role will involve close collaboration with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to craft intuitive and visually appealing designs that cater to a diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities
User Research: Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand needs and pain points.
UI/UX Design: Design engaging user interfaces in Figma, maintaining alignment with the brand identity.
Visual Assets: Create high-quality illustrations, icons, images, and micro animations to enhance user experience.
Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to communicate ideas and gather feedback.
Design Systems: Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system and style guide.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and fidelity in implementation.
Accessibility Advocacy: Prioritize user accessibility and inclusivity in all designs.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with design trends and tools to improve the platform’s UI/UX.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of UI/UX design experience (edtech industry experience preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma, with strong skills in illustration and animation.
Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing web and mobile application design projects.
Research Skills: Ability to conduct user research and apply insights to design solutions.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to articulate design decisions.
Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
